The vision of The Traditionals began long before it had a name.
In 2005, Mohan Chandra Joshi founded the firm with a small team and a quiet belief that good design begins with listening. After five years as Senior Architect at Tivtia Chauhan & Sharma Architects, he pursued his passion, first through small residential projects on evenings and weekends, and soon full-time as the firm grew.
Under his leadership, the studio expanded from modest homes to residential complexes, villas, hotels, commercial spaces, factories, group housing, and institutions, completing over 700+ projects across India in two decades.
His philosophy remains our foundation:

His legacy lives not only in the spaces he created, but in the values that guide us today.

Latika Joshi
Director | Interior Architect
Latika Joshi is the second generation of a legacy rooted in design.
Growing up where architecture was more than a profession, it was a language, she absorbed the rhythm of floor plans, site visits, and creative conversations from an early age. Her father laid the foundation of the practice; Latika now adds a new chapter to the story.
Her path took her from IIAD, New Delhi, where she studied Interior Architecture & Design, to the Manchester School of Art, United Kingdom, for a Master’s in Interior & Furniture Design. These years deepened her understanding of not just how spaces are built, but how they feel.
Today, she leads the firm with a quiet determination, expanding its services to include Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape, and Town Planning. With every project, she carries forward a conversation started a generation ago, blending legacy with innovation, and structure with soul.
